What's in a Collective? Part 2
A follow-up exhibition to a tART exhibition at A.I.R. Gallery in the summer that posed the question, in a variety of ways, of what the collective is about. The answer (support structure and collaborations) was both performed and displayed at Brick, a real estate office that doubles as a gallery, on December 30th, 2010.

Ladies of the Press
Ana Cavic showing off the latest portrait as part of the live publishing performance by Ladies of the Press - a screenshot of participants in Brooklyn that has been processed by her partner, Renee O’Drobinak, in Tokyo via Skype, printed by Ana and hung by tART.

During evening tART also hung submissions by artists who responded to the collective's open call during the summer (to do their own versions of the dinner table and feminism.) Post performance these submissions and enlargements of the portraits by Ladies of the Press hung above the real estate agents' desks at Brick.

Dinner table contributors so far: Norbert Francis Attard, Suzanne Broughel, Jenny Carolin, Ann deVere, Arianne Folks, Christine Gedeon, Birgit Hedegaard, Mai Kjer, Francine Leclerq, Jess Levey, Elizabeth Sturges Llerena, Susan Ross, Morgan Schagerberg, Melissa Staiger, Igor Toshevski.
